Peace Pole dedication, Old City

Dedication of a Peace Pole in the Old City of Jerusalem, with Hagit Ra'anan

Networking and collaboration

In recent times we have worked in association with many Peacemakers from the Holy Land. These have included many individuals as well as the Peacemaker Community-Israel and the Women's Interfaith Encounter Group-Israel.

By supporting the work of these remarkable people we are not only strengthening their resolve in extremely disheartening circumstances but also enabling the international community to know of their work and to make valuable contributions to it.

Other organisations that have been involved in this venture have included:
The Woodbrooke Quaker Study Centre in Birmingham, UK,
The Stop the War Coalition, Bath, UK,
St James' Church, Piccadilly, UK
Namaste Publishing, UK,
The Harmony Project, Israel,
The Future Trust, UK,
Ammerdown Centre, UK,
Lord Hylton, a member of the British House of Lords,
Unity Palo Alto Community Church, CA, USA,
Glide Memorial Church, San Francisco,
Shir Hadash, Kol Emeth Synagogues & Pacific Cultural Center, Santa Cruz, CA
The Afghan Women's Association,
International and Mid East Diplomacy - Compassionate Listening Project.

Since our incorporation in 1992 we have collaborated with many other organisations and individuals including Women Together, Siberia , Network 2012, USA and the Achual Healing Arts, CA

CHN has worked with Bea Agins, president of the Achual Healing Arts, since 1997. Bea is a Peruvian Vegistelista, a Cunendaro, using the medicinal and magical properties of plants for healing. She travels back and forth to Peru from California to work with Achual Tribe from New Jerusalem , Amazon, Peru. CHN helped to fund the money needed for the tribe to achieve ‘Native Status'. This enabled them to use and protect their part of the rainforest, lets them teach their children the Achual customs and language, and to be recognized by other official Native groups.

In 2001 CHN was one of the organisers of the MasterPeace Conference at Stanford University, USA.
